Lisa has served as President & CEO of the East Parker County Chamber since May 2008 and, as testimony to her long dedication to chamber work, was recognized by the Texas State Chamber of Commerce in June 2020 for serving in the industry for 15 years. June 2023 marked her 18th year in the Chamber profession. Notably, EPCCC membership has increased an astounding 143 percent during her tenure.

When Lisa was hired to lead the EPCCC, she brought with her a stellar record of accomplishments. It was clear she was meant to lead when, as a member, she received the 2006 EPCCC Member of the Year Award in recognition of a successful inaugural 2006 membership drive.

Throughout her tenure with the EPCCC, Lisa has worked to maintain a personal level of professional development, equipping herself with vital knowledge of industry tools and methods to drive the EPCCC forward. Her work in completing the Advanced Chamber Management course from the Center for Chamber of Commerce Excellence (CCCE) and social networking continuing education from Weatherford College in 2009 has fed directly into such accomplishments as receiving first place for Best New Program (networking event) from the Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives (TCCE) that same year.

In July 2013, Lisa received her nonprofit management certificate from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute program, the premier nonprofit professional development program for fostering individual growth through interactive learning and networking opportunities. In 2015, Lisa earned her Certified Chamber Executive (CCE) designation from the Association Chamber of Commerce Executives. At that time, there were only 570 executives in the nation who had earned their CCE.

Over the ensuing years, Lisa has set about creating a vision for the Chamber that would attract new members, increasing participation of current members and shining a spotlight on EPCCC contributions to the business community. From the creation of the Boomin 4th event in 2012 to the formation of the Chamber Foundation in 2019, Lisa and her team strive to do better and be better.

It worked. Under her leadership, EPCCC has maintained at least 80 percent of its members from year to year with 33 percent of the members regularly attending the Monthly Membership Luncheon, a rarity among industry chamber events.

In June 2020, the East Parker County Chamber received its 5-Star Accreditation from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Among more than 7,000 chambers in the U.S., only 204 chambers have earned this distinction, positioning the East Parker County Chamber in the top 3% of chambers nationwide and one of only 40 accredited chambers in Texas.

She has remained undaunted in her ability to find and address needs, launching the Young Professionals Network in 2022, and this year, encouraged members to attend the NTC Washington DC Fly-In. As the EPCCC is a strong advocate for our business community at the local, state and federal level, thirty-five individuals attended from across North Texas, meeting directly with legislators.

Clearly, the EPCCC is fortunate to have Lisa at the helm. She is constantly on a mission to learn more and be more, and that can only mean the EPCCC will do the same.
